Tennis Stars of Tomorrow Shine at the 2024 Champions Bowl World Finals in Poreč
The 2024 Champions Bowl World Finals took place from 29th of
September until 6th of October in the stunning location of Zelena
Laguna, Porec, Croatia. The town of Porec, known for its rich cultural
and historical heritage, served as the backdrop for this thrilling week
of tennis.
Nestled on a tranquil peninsula shaded by pine trees and
bordered by rocky and pebble beaches, Zelena Laguna provided a serene
and picturesque setting for this prestigious event. The tournament's
participants stayed at the Gran Vista and Istra Hotels, where they
enjoyed breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea while immersing
themselves in the competition.
The 2024 Champions Bowl World Finals saw the participation
of nearly 220 highly talented players from 23 countries, including the
USA, Israel, Spain and Germany. Over 500 matches were played across
singles and doubles categories, showcasing the tennis skills of some of
the best young tennis talents from around the world.
The Champions Bowl Finals is unique in its focus on both
individual and team success. Every match counts, and players, competing
as members of their national teams, contributed to their country's bid
for the coveted Team Trophy. This year, Team Spain emerged victorious,
claiming the prestigious title.
In addition to the high-level competition, the tournament
offered numerous social and recreational activities. Players and
attendees enjoyed a memorable Players' Night by the sea, as well as
exciting workshops and aerobic sessions on days when rain interrupted
play. The opening and closing ceremonies were also major highlights,
